Jon Huggett.
As a Co-Director and Co-Founder of EML I have worked in the Event industry for over 22 years and have designed and run literally hundreds of events, in a wide variety of locations – but I do love a challenge!
I am accredited and accomplished in the delivery of MBTI Level 1 and Belbin Team Roles and use elements of these tools on a day to day basis personally. When I am on non-training events I feel that my knowledge and understanding of the industry combined with how guests are likely to react and think, gives me a real advantage and insight into how to design / deliver a top class event to clients.
The UK market has changed immeasurably since I started as a fresh faced graduate from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester where I spent 4 years training to be a Land Agent. After College I became the Assistant Land Agent at the National Trusts prestigious Stourhead Estate in Wiltshire…Sadly this was not the career for me (mainly due to the BSE outbreak in cattle) and I was lured into the event industry which appealed to my organisational and people skills.
On a day to day basis I organise and facilitate a wide variety of events from bespoke training days to key note conferences to top end experiential treasure hunts in Venice…..To say my client list is varied would be an understatement!
Areas of personal expertise include attention to detail, event format generation, health and safety, integrated group learning, conferencing and team sessions.
When I’m not at work I enjoy looking after my two children, I am a registered Silversmith and I shoot antique Black Powder muskets and rifles to an international level.
