Get groovy with seventies team building.
We loved staging seventies team building activities at the Holy Birds Bar on London's Middlesex Street this week. Based in the private cocktail lounge of this elegantly styled seventies theme bar / restaurant we ran a series of fun team building activities for a corporate group looking to unwind after a busy day at the office.
EML's team got down and funky by donning 70's fancy dress and strutting their stuff throughout the series of themed team games. Throw in great food, drink and ambience as provided by the Holy Birds team and you had the recipe for a great night of corporate evening entertainment.
Designing new team building activities to meet a client’s specific objectives is, quite simply, the best part of our job! In the last couple of weeks I have worked on a Flash Mob, a Thriller Dance and Adventure / Mystery Treasure Hunt based in the grounds of the beautiful Heythrop Park Country Estate and Hotel. There is no part of working in the provision of team building activities more rewarding than collaborating with a client to create an event that really hits the nail on the head or that really ties in with an important message that they are trying to convey.
Sadly, in my experience, creating team building activities from scratch is less common than I’d like. More often than not we tend to utilise aspects of tried and tested team events to create a tailored version of our existing range to fit a client’s requirement – after all why reinvent the wheel if you don’t have to?
The good news is that once designed and delivered our bespoke team building activities become a part of our portfolio; so the next time your team is feeling funky for a night of seventies theme entertainment – give us a shout and get your groove on!
